  • Taking the necessary measures of preservation and protection of the site and property;
  • Listing and taking an inventory of all damaged property: movable and immovable property, movable property only, or immovable property only.
  • Assessing and determining all damage and losses following a disaster;
  • Negotiating the terms of the claim with the insurance agent (or his representative);
  • Supervising the service providers’ work;
  • Finalizing the settlement claim, with the authorization and approval of the insurance adjuster.
